In this video, we will discuss how much pay military members really earn in 2024. A lot of people think the military is poor, and don't receive good pay, but I will prove that's wrong.

For all my peoples who are actually interested in joining the Air Force, this playlist will help get you started. Good luck 🙌🏽

If your family is coming into town for your graduation, and need somewhere to stay, I have two Airbnb's which would be perfect for them. Make sure they ask about our discount.

If I had to live in the Air Force dorms again, these are essential items I must have

Airbnb: The Chillton - 3 Bedroom/3 Bathroom

Airbnb: Ritz Bargain - 1 Bedroom/1 Bathroom

23 year old, no drivers license or skill, no job experience, lost to what to do in life, have an associates degree in IT that I haven't used since I lost community college, and trying to work off the pounds. The Air Force and/or Space Force sounds like a good way to change my life around, but that could be my emotions calling. I want to pay back my parents for not giving anything back to them, but the trip away from people you stayed your whole life is a tough move. I appreciate this video's existence.

Use every benefit you can to set yourself up for success when you get out. I know too many people who say they regret joining the Air Force and that it didn’t help them, but they never used the VA home loan, never contributed to their TSP, didn’t go to school while they were in and weren’t going to use their GI bill

Great video. I joined at as an old man 38 year old non-citizen E3 four years ago to do one 4 year enlistment to get my benefits and citizenship and dip out, but I've extended as a first term airman and plan on staying in longer just cause the benefits, medical, travel, compensation, discounts/free premium credit cards adds so much value for my family. Not to mention my job at my base is the cushiest position I've ever had. If you take all the benefits and pay into account it would be more than my previously stressful job that I worked for over a decade.

If I could start over and was fortunate to be born in the great US of A I wouldn't even bother with college and join a military branch right out of high school.

The biggest pay increase the military could receive would be having their income tax exempt (both federal and state)

My military retirement pay is around $4600/month (retired paygrade O-3E, 25.5 years of service) and I am 100% VA disabled with monthly compensation of just under $4K/month. I enlisted as an E-1 in 1989–base pay was about $600/month; at paygrade E-7 in 2004, base pay was about $3100/month—leap ahead 10 more years (after getting a direct commission), and my base pay at paygrade O-3E was around $6800/month. My last 10 years in the military I was stationed in the DC metro area, so I received a good chunk of change in housing allowance—it was around $3500/month

My only advice to the younger military folks just recently joining is do not hesitate to go to sick call if you are hurting. that was my biggest mistake while i was in even though i was hurting i never went to sick call because toughness was always taught and also i was afraid it can hinder me from getting promoted. I finally got my 100% P&T now but it took me almost 10 years after i got out to get what i deserved.

Wonderful video, as I almost graduated college and will be joining as an E3, and will get TA for my Master's Degree. Based on your video I will earn around the equivalent of 70K a year.

Joining the military will allow me to marry my fiancè, get my MA, learn some skills, save for retirment, be indipendent and save some money.

If you are smart with your money, its definitely a great career choice even as a college graduate.

Let's not forget...pay and benefits are good until you look at the number of hours you will be working compared to civilian counterpart.

Your videos are always helpful I used your videos to prepare myself for bmt and here I am at my first duty station finishing up in processing I’m still pretty nervous to start working operational on the flight line as a 2A635 hydraulics apprentice for c-130js but I hope the next few months go smoothly and not too stressful
