Sounds just like our Master Sergeant, always complaining about everything. 🤣🤣

Lol first time I got to my first unit, I was told from my platoon Sergeant to go see Top and I knock on his door and he just said "Who the fuck are you, you know what it doesn't even matter pop smoke and about face away from me." LOL the enlisted life.

Literally had a PhD in my platoon check in as a pfc. He wanted to do the reserves because he said he felt like he needed to serve, but not as an officer. Dude had a PhD in physics!

Mans sounded like my sergeant at BMQ when he said that “Holy Fuck”

As I look back 25 years of my military career (just retired) I appreciated my time as an enlisted Airborne Infantry; it sucked, but was a character builder.

Prior enlisted and felt this exact way when I reported to my first unit as a Pfc vs when reported as a butter bar. Def eye opening and reminded me why I commissioned. Always treat your soldiers with respect no matter the rank, they’ll remember you.

Exactly why soldiers are not reenlisting. Toxic leadership produces a toxic environment to operate in. No matter what unit or profession

They should really have sociology and psychologist proffessionals in the military

I mustanged from enlisted to officers around year 9 of my career and yep. Treatment is like night and day. There's still stupid shit and stress but it's just different kinds of problems from enlisted

My first Army unit. I showed up on a Sunday at 8pm. Got zero sleep from AIT. Was given some thin blanket and went to my room. My roommate was gone. I froze my ass off all night. And my roomate had sex in the middle of the night with his GF while I was sleeping. 0500 was told to do a PT test. When I got done. I was asked by my commander. Where my TA 50 was. Told him I was new. My squad leader gets yelled at for 20 mins. Then my squad leader is pissed off at me. Was a rough few weeks to say the least.
