Thanks for the video.

I followed the instructions and I got a "The system cannot find the file specified." message.

For anyone else having this issue, it's because C: is not the correct path for your particular configuration.
Most likely it's E:

instead of "c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s", type in "e:\boot\bcd -h -r -s"
and instead of "ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old", type in "ren e:\boot\bcd bcd.old"


Another note: If your computer is failing to boot or recognize your Windows USB, they can be picky with USB flash drive brands so try another brand. Toshiba USB flash 2.0 didn't work for me but I had a digitech USB 3.0 SD card reader lying around and was able to use it as bootable windows media and it was recognized.

Keep in mind this is only for BIOS MBR, not UEFI GPT

It goes all fine but when it becomes to rebuildbcd it gives me 0 windows instalations found, worst of all it says, operation succesfully so i restart and the same problem stills. Omg this is so annoying!!

I have a hp pav. Dv7 its running windows vista so far that i know of it recently got a virus on it from my uncles use of it. He gave it back and i didnt use it for a year . I turned it on and it glitches from hp then goes to a black screen which is still on and everything but just black. Ive tried everything so far i have no CD in it and nothing is working so far. Could anyone help me? I have no idea how to solve this problem. And i dont have the funds right now to be spending on technicians for something that could be something any of you guys or myself can solve
