You provided no evidence what so ever with this claim. Samurai have their own fighting style and their weapons are vastly different from Chinese weapons. All the techniques used in Samurai Katana movement has all been linked to their land alone along with the formation of The Shogun and Ronins . While the Chinese had their own techniques sword/Spear techniques. Katana forms were made special to the Samurai and even Assassins (ninja) because of the curved blade that which focuses the weight of the sword to the edge of the blade giving deadly accuracy . The Chinese used what is called a Dao or a Qiang or Ji spears which were made do for the fighting style of Chinese warriors at the time, the Chinese dao had its own unique techniques as well but they weren’t anywhere as close to how the Japanese Katana was wielded . The only things the Japanese have inherited from the Chinese is partial amounts of their language that we know now today as “KANJI” 漢字, and Karate 空手 which was born from various different Kung fu styles that came from the Chinese homeland.
