Great video. I lived in Japan for 3 years. Not far from Kamakura. My Japanese father in law gave me a katana from the Kamakura period. It is still in Japan and difficult to bring home to Australia. Love walking the street of Kamakura and the surrounding hills.

I feel given the countless court intrigue and wars for which clan could rule Japan in the imperial family. It seems quite obvious that the powerful daimyo would eventually run the prefectures and a shogun would run the country..

I would absolutely love a video on Kurosawa or just those kinds of movies in general! I greatly enjoyed your video!! I just wanted to point out, not to be a rude person or anything, that most of the sources you used would not be considered credible by many historians. Take Mark Cartwright's article as an example. The self-proclaimed historian has a PhD in Computer Sciences, which just doesn't seem to add up right.

Dude keep this up. The visuals are terrific, the audio needs work. I would recommend looking into audio polishing software that way you won’t need to do a heavy microphone upgrade. I’m subscribing.
