Yin Yoga is a very slow and passive form of yoga, that helps to release deep tensions out of your body and out of your mind. If you are diving deep into the stillness of the pose, you can let go on all levels and become at peace with yourself, regenerate and rejuvenate. Become the observer, just watching all inner processes then nature can show itself in its own constantly changing non-static state. If you are just in your mind, focussing on either a goal, an expectation or any affirmation that is coming only from your intellect, you are not able to see what is there, what is real. You are distracted and what you experience is just a product of your own imagination, it is not real. Yin Yoga gives you the oportunity to let go completely, all these concepts and ideas so that you are able to really see, hear and feel what is inside. And things can unfold from within as they are.

Today´s Yin Yoga sequence is mainly about releasing tensions and stiffness out of your hips and your back. The meridians that are effected are the liver,- the kidney-, the gallbladder and the urinary bladder meridian. In some variations there is stimulation also in the heart- and the lungmeridian.

This sequence includes the following Yin Yoga poses:

- Reclined butterfly
- Half shoelace
- Swan / alternative Eye of the needle

- Marjari Asana
- Shavasana
