I never had one but I always liked the heco. I think it was a heco 500? It seemed to be capable of also heating your home. As I remember it had a very big firebox.

have you heard how a highly insulated smaller home, say 1000 square foot or so would do with a wood cook stove? I worry that it might over heat the house, but I think it would be better than a regular wood stove
