Hey all, Unfortunately Youtube removed annotations so I can't put this directly in the video:

1) It was brought to my attention that elixir of the mongoose and elixir of greater agility stacking is just a visual bug, and you don't actually get 50 agility. So it seems, at least for now, there is no need for elixir of greater agility.

2) The wrong elixir of giants is shown in the picture - it should just be +25 strength (although it's fine, since the one shown doesn't currently exist anyways).

Mongoose and Greater Agility DON’T stack. You can use Mongoose then use Greater Agility and they will show as buffs but if you look at your stats the Greater Agility does not increase your agility.

No disrespect to the author, there is some useful information here & if you are new to the rogue class, there is something you can use.

There is also some fully incorrect information, which is why I feel I gotta post this.

1. DON'T stack to 5 combos and SND. You SND whenever its fading off at 0 seconds, whatever amount of combo points you have.
2. You absolutely DON'T spam your cd's at the start of the fight. Now this is raid dependant, but I will give you a priority list:
A) You will want to use your CD's on the boss as many times as possible
B) You want to time your CD's so that you have your crusader proc on ( double if you run double, though you shouldn't, weapon dmg MH is better)

Example: You know boss fight takes 2mins and 50 seconds. BF lasts for 15 seconds, you will be able to use it twice, so it has to be up at 2.35. This means you have to use it first time at 0.35 --> If you don't get a crusader proc, you use it at 0.34 and again at 2.34. If you do get a crusader proc, you will use it when you do & you will use it second time at 2.34 at latest. Whatever you do, you will only get to use AR once, so just wait for a crusader proc.

3. Video talks about maximizing dps, not basic dps. Here are some actual tips for that:

1. If you play swords, learn to use your swingtimer to maximum efficiency for maximum extra swings.
2. When you play, you DON'T want to use energy when you have it. You use energy at 80 to dump it, when you get a proc, you dump it like a madman. Thus you use more enrgy with cd's on, kicking your friend rogues ass in the dps meter.
3. Use the right consumables. It's triggering to see rogues using instant poisons vs. elemental bosses, who are IMMUNE to poisons. Almost as triggering to see rogues run double dense stone, when elemental OH is much better. If you want to kick ass in the dps meter, buy da shit & know da shit.
4. Don't follow your rotation blindly. Some bosses allow standard rotation, but for some there are better ones. Won't give it all here, use your brain.
5. Run double arcane resistance pot at Shazzrah to top dps on the boss & impress your GM.
6. Blade flurry makes rogues shine or fall. Use it 1. at max energy, 2. thistle tea always BF on when fight has multiple mobs.
7. My final tip to you, get a stam gear. I have 6500hp raid buffed as a rogue. (Note: If your guild rage pools for bosses, make sure to vanish+macro your dps gear on before boss is pulled). I don't need my healers to keep me up on trash, so I won't need to be salty about losing my precious world buffs.

Why would you put the elemental sharpening stone on your MH and dense on OH? Shouldn't it be the other way around?

I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious here. It sounds like you're saying Blade Flurry is used on Boss encounters at 7:30 into the video. Did I misunderstand that? If not, lmk why it's a CD you pop on a single target encounter.

What is the best weapon enchants for sword rogues, is it double crusader or crusader/15+ agility? I read that on OH weapons with a speed of 2.0 or lower you benefit more with 15+ agility and OH weapons that are slower than 2.0 you benefit more with crusader. Is it any truth in this?

how much rouge deal in same gear in dagger or sword . i mean ( vis'kag + brutality blade) or (perditilion + core hound tooth). for all MC and on bosses? aproximately
now i deal 450 + - (900kk damage) for all MC with dagger perditil and other 41 dps dagger, w/o worldbuff, only alchemy. i think it's low. What you think about it, dagger useless for now? should i change to sword bil?

Does it matter at all when you use adrenaline rush between energy ticks, to potentially get an extra improved energy tick while you have AR up?

You also wanna wait for things like Sunder armor etc etc, to be on your target before slamming those cooldowns - that will help your dps alot more

Hi Cliff! Great Content! As a dagger rogue in raids, would you suggest a 16/31/4 build or a 15/31/5 with 4/5 lethality? I am asking this as I've personally ended up not running relentless strikes, and seeing how much you emphasise the +25 energy, you make it sound mandatory! Thanks and regards

You can't stack the elixir of the mongoose and the agility. I mean on your buff bar yes it stacks, but if you look your stats, you only get the +25 agility, not + 50 from both. Take care cuz you are spending money for nothing. Also as combat sword spec, you should get a melee wep tracker addon. Cuz Sinister strikes will proc your sword talent / HOJ, you need to maximize this by doing sinister strike at the right moment to dont waste a white hit if hoj or your sword talent proc.
