Thanks for the shout out! Heres to the psychopaths who need to over optimize everything LOL

ps. for some reason my method only works consistently on a specific corner, the left one if applied to the bottom plot, use that same corner with a single node housing face and it should work everytime

Brawndo design was a game changer for me. I went from struggling with food on my first few attempts to build a town (I just got Manor Lords on the Steam sale), and now my town is overflowing with food. I'm not currently playing on the beta patch, so I'm curious to see how the Granary changes will work out, but this design is stellar for food. I started the map making three connected Brawndos and built the rest of my town around it, which has worked very well. I have a 55 family village that is completely self-sustaining, so I could leave that village and focus on another claimed tile if I desire and never worry about it. Thanks Brawndo design!

To align perfectly with map corners, zoom in when you select a building to build but before you place it down. Before you place your building you'll notice there are white lines on the floor plan of the building and those lines are aligned to the map "grid". All you have to do is spin your building so one edge of the buildings outline aligns with those lines and boom! Perfect alignment.

4:05 FYI for new players, what he's trying to do is get the optimal allocation that reduces the space that the 1st/2nd house takes.

Just look at the internal dotted lines behind the first and last attempt and you'll see what I mean.

Initially I didn't understand why my apple plantations were so small and after rewatching this, then I understood.

Just coming back to manor lords. I enjoyed trying to build 2000pop cities. Hope this design works well for me. Thanks for the upload!

Tacticat, you’re the reason I started making content about this game. I was kind of lost at the beginning but I learned alot from you. I tried this awesome design of yours and it worked wonders for my villages. I will give you a shoutout when I make this design for my audience in another langauge. Thank you very much and I wish you best of wishes and a happy new year. ❤️🌹

Remember your training, Harry! Use hexagon. Seriously though, it will be much more efficient
edit: i have checked. 2x2 initial grid enables you to easily get a hexagon (one pair of opposite sides have starting and ending points in the middle, the other has a corned in the middle - easy). after that you have a lot of ways how to divide it, easy to get a plot with big garden, and you can make a nested hex inside for all utility buildings or still maintain your design. or scale up to 4x4 (3x3 is also possible, but will be harder to setup initially, because a hex's side is half of the square it's inscribed into, so sticking to odd numbers simplifies things). i am sure you will find ways to push it to the limit : ) there are a lot of funny angles to play with

If you change the road curvature amount whenever you draw a curved road, I find it updates the road to make smoother curves (even if you're not intending to truly increase or decrease the road curvature).

So what's the reason for the granny and pack station? To just store the produce farmed on those plots and trade them? And the market is to supply those specific houses with goods? I haven't tried the new update yet.

Great video. Thank you. But why did you put a packing station inside the circle? Isnt that needed only if you want to send some goods to exchange with another province?

Thank you for sharing this. I just dislike the fact that we have to cheese the game mechanics this way to get efficient designs. I hope they are going to make it easier and more straightforward.

Hey, My last game was so glitched at the start I started a new one. Putting in my Brawndo. Should be cake. Appears to be square or within a couple of degrees. Normally it takes me a couple of tries at most. Usually the first try. This is taking me forever. Having to use weird points I wouldnt normally use. Probably been at it for 2 hours. I would get good 2/3 house layouts but the single just wasnt working. The single would end up being about 1/2 and 1/2 or no extension at all - which seemed weird. I am wondering if the updated Beta changes are effecting the snap. On my last map there were bits of the kings road that didnt work. You couldnt snap to road. Im on the SwineShits map now.

why do you put a packing station in the middle? Isn't that only for trading with other villages?

I'm having trouble rotating the corpse pit. It just spins at the slightest movement. How do you rotate things slowly?
