I wonder; can you have a very tall roof? I've heard that the lox has a view distance a bit like a troll, so its detection (camera) point is high off the ground, meaning it can't see food if you put the food "under" the camera.

I will have to do some testing to see if a very tall roof will work or not.

I've trapped a lox within a deep pit, fed it with plenty of cloudberries, and stayed within 64 meters, but it's taking forever to tame! I've seen a few hearts, so the process has started, but it's well over 1.5 hours and still not tamed. Any suggestions?

You say a lox pair and no more than 4 other lox around within 20m. Does that mean I can wait to kill anything in any pen to free up production after 6 lox in total or 2 parents 2 babies?

Lastly, I moved a pair of lox as backup to the meadows cause it's adjacent to the Plains and an easy move. They gave birth!? I thought like cloud berries, flax or barley, to grow they had to be in the Plains biome. Not with my testing...!

Thanks for any direction.
