How to remove Mixer Tap handle with no obvious screw

I had a dripping mixer tap and needed to sort the issue. The dripping was caused by a build up of limescale. In this case it was on the hot feed.

The hot and cold mixers do not have traditional rubber washers. They have ceramic ones housed in a metal sleeve that need to be unscrewed prior to cleaning. I used white vinegar as the acidity breaks down limescale without using any chemicals then reassembled. This was a straight forward job. There are some really good videos on YouTube that show how this is done.

My issue and the reason for uploading the video to help anyone in the same situation was with removing the handles so that I could then get to the internal screw holding everything together.

Hope this helps you if in the same situation.

Thank you for your continued support

Thanks man. I used a grip with some rubber off a bike tyre inner tube to not scratch it to turn it off.
