About:
Jason and Lorraine. In 2016 we sold most of our belongings and left the city in southern California to start a small homestead in the mountains of North Carolina. We left the city in search for a more minimal and intentional life. We became passionate about growing our own food and knowing what exactly is in our food after I (Jason) became diagnosed with cancer. Now 8 years in remission we as a family are on a journey to live our passions.
We document our life on YouTube videos to inspire others to get out of their comfort zone and not be afraid of change. We started our own online general store where we have available the things we make and use in real life. Thank you for following us on this incredible life changing journey!

Wow Jason! I just built 7 raised beds and I certainly didn't think about using outdoor wood glue! I'm going to put that idea in my back pocket and pull it out and use it for next time! Thanks!

That raised bed does look pretty easy to build. Thanks for the demo. I enjoyed seeing Penelope and her umbrella floating in the background. :-)

As much rain as we have had here in Tennessee - We find ourselves going to raised beds as well and we've seen several different styles of raised beds - each one with their own little flare! Like you guys' idea! Making gardening easier definitely - especially for people who want a garden but have little space to make one! Awesome video and great job guys! Keep em' coming!

I just completed two 3’x6’ raised beds with cedar fence boards (2 high) and grade stakes that I bought from a lumber liquidator. Minimal cuts and no leftover wood 😉 12 boards and 12 stakes made two beds. Only cost me $15!

Lorraine needs to put herbs in one of those beds closest to the house. Nothing like cooking with fresh cut herbs.

That look of garden beds cut into a little hillside like that is sweet. All onions, man that's a lot of onions
