Losing a child is painful enough but to lose them they way those parents did so violently and scary it’s my worst nightmare.

It’s difficult to believe my friend from Ecuador who moved from Maryland to Uvalde 6 years ago wouldn’t experience something like this. He is still in high school and knew the problems with the person who committed the shooting. My respect goes to the families who lost their kids.

So difficult to watch these young parents that lost their daughter trying to move forward one step at a time. Their grief will last throughout their lifetime, they will trust their FAITH IN GOD to get through the years. Please try to hold on to the things that bring you joy, her laughter, her smile, her love of family. You can be an inspiration for other young parents that are living with a loss of a child. Some by illness and some by senseless violence.

My heart is still broken for these families. We expect our Grandparents do die before us, we expect our parents to die before us, but we are never or will ever be prepared for our children dying, especially those who were killed. My daughter was 24 when Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumors took her life, and 20 1/2 years later, I am still missing my daughter and imaging what her future would have been if the GBM had not been so vicious to her. The loss of a child is the worst loss that I can describe.

I never been one to dwell over things in the news. But the tragedy in Uvalde I just can't shake it from my head. It's one of the most horrific things to ever happen in this nation. The more time that passes, the more upsetting it is that their lives were robbed from them. We should vow to never let them be forgotten ❤ As a nation we should assist these families for as long as they need.

I’m so angry I grieve these poor children who I’ve never met and yet the world keeps going on and on why isn’t anyone doing anything why are we just accepting that this just happens!? My heart hurts so much and yet some people around me don’t even wanna talk about it…..I’m so sorry. I pray you find peace
