i have had a problem with my tendon in my right arm, and i arm wrestle with some people but I'm so weak and i felt the main pain when i train my triceps but i watched a video of yours and it turns out to be a pronator muscle in forearms (I don't remember the name LOL) but your very helpful and this helped and relieved me so much and after this i took a full week of, light weights only. so now i take two weeks of light weight and 6 weeks of normal heavy weights. and thanks again you're a great you-tuber and a coach wish u best of luck

I came to training 3 days after my first comp. It was brutal... Been a bit over a week now and it's much better.

My injuries are not from arm wrestling. But your information is excellent and relevant. I appreciate you!

The pain is huge in my left arm, mainly from doing Hammer curls, pronater injury from what you've said.
But it's been 8 weeks now, so I'm gonna revert to light weight for ten days, dam I wish I'd found your channel earlier.

Arm wrestling seems to put extraordinary pressure on the tendons in short bursts. For golfer elbow from paddle boarding, I try to frequently work out my tendons at 1/5 th heavy training weights. I do 1 rep of 10 to 20 curls thirty times a day. This levels up the baseline. I mix it up with full training three days a week but still do the other 30 reps.

Thank you for this video. I am a new puller and keep inflaming my tendons so bad I cannot do anything and had no idea how long to rest or what to do about it

I take 10 days... I found that 2 weeks is to long ( almost lazy feeling) and 7 days is not quite long enough, but I have only been pulling for 6 months. So I am still experimenting 😁

I know a lot of arm wrestlers just have tendinitis, which is the temporary acute pain that is discussed in this video. But a lot of arm wrestlers and a lot of commenters here have tendinopathy, which is chronic pain from damaged tendons. Tendinopathy may be more common than tendinitis. Treatment for tendinopathy is very different. Bottom line is that tendinopathy never heals. But, recovery is achieved by doing careful specific training to build new tendon around the permanently damaged parts. Over time, your tendon can be stronger than it was before the injury. But the worst thing for tendinopathy is rest. You need to be on a program that carefully builds the tendons using isometric and eccentric exercises. Then, as the tendon strengthens, heavier loads and explosive movements can be added to rebuild tendon elasticity. All the people here who are talking about how a year of rest did nothing to fix tendon pain…you’ve got tendinopathy and rest is the exact wrong thing to do to recover because you are just allowing a damaged tendon to weaken through lack of use.

I also take 7 days of before bigger competitions, complete rest without training, works fine for me. Before smaller competitions i only take 2/3 days tops, but in the last training i take care that i dont completely destroy my tendons :)

5 weeks rest before Tournament. I discovered it on accident being unable to train for 5 weeks, but my arm was made of steel after that rest duration.

I like the Devon Larratt style of training, using a table, pulley system and a Multispinner and Karate belt. Can I do this everyday as long as I feel fairly fresh and don't have much pain in my tendons? Is there a certain volume and intensity that I should not exceed, if I exercise everyday, to avoid tendon injury?

Love your content so much.
I'm quite new to armwrestling.
Is it ok to do your 6 weeks program and do some moderate powerlifting in the same time?
Or it would be to much and I won't recover?
Thank you
