Did you guys know that the world almost ended in 1962? 🚨 During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the U.S. and Soviet Union came this close to full-on nuclear war. 😱 It started when the U.S. discovered Soviet missiles in Cuba, 90 miles from Florida. President Kennedy demanded their removal.

For 13 intense days, it was a high-stakes staring contest between the two superpowers. Warships, spy planes, secret meetings—it had everything! In the end, the Soviets relented, pulling their missiles out of Cuba. The U.S. promised not to invade Cuba -again- and to remove their missiles from Turkey.
