Do you guys remember before Russia invaded Ukraine how we all thought Russia was roughly equivalent in strength to NATO?

As a South Korean, I hope you guys do not ignore China's threat to Taiwan. World War 3 will literally be 'World' War 3. It doesn't matter how much NATO wants to stay out of touch with China.

Right now, even in this video, it is only making a simple comparison between Russia and NATO, and it does not consider the complicated twisted situation of Turkey, Hungary and India.

I couldn't believe i heard the commentator say that. I was born in West Germany in a British Army hospital in the early 60's and grew up there until the late 70's. I did have to live through the cold war, it was on my doorstep. 4am "crash-outs" were a real thing in my childhood. As children we had no idea if it was for real or not.

I also served in the British Army through the end of the Soviet Union.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the EU would almost certainly get involved too since they too have a shared defense policy, and most of the members of NATO overlap with the members of the EU. Only thing that would actually change in terms of countries getting involved is the addition of Ireland, Cyprus, and Austria, but it's something to note.

Considering how often Putin brings up nukes, it shows how desperate & lacking in confidence he is. NATO countries only talk nukes when asked to comment on Russian threats, as they're far more secure & confident in their capabilities.

I don't see the point in starting a nuclear war anyway. It ends up with you & your people likely dead as well, and even if you "win, " what do you really gain? A massively depleted population, no infrastructure or economy left, and worse quality of life than ever before. Basically you have nothing & nobody left to rule over...

I've heard you say something about cyberattacks from Russia several times. I don't know how to say this in any plainer terms, cyberattacks from russian and russian allied countries increased something like 100-1000x during the buildup around Ukraine, and they have not backed down. In all sincerity we see them still, though they keep using the same tactics and we're getting pretty used to defending against them. This is not the threat it appears to be.

As a former 13m... UK giving storm shadows are better than ATACMs.. maybe a slightly shorter range, but lot less prone to air defense.. and Biden openly admitted the other day that ATACMS are on the table, after denying it before. ATACMS Block 1 would be huge for the beginning of and Ukrainian Counter offensive... Especially along those trench lines..
