Apparently Google is blocking comments that reference competitors, etc. So here's the sanitized version of my previous comment. YouTube Premium allows me to say a voice command and go directly to live news broadcasts without ads. I've not found another service that allows me to go directly to a program within the service. I love the documentaries on YTP, though the movies are usually low rated. YouTube TV is too expensive unless you're a sports enthusiast, or you can't receive OTA channels, or you just can't live without the Simpsons :)

Have you tube tv = provides DVR service and my local channels - a little pricy but allows cord cutting which pays for the subscription

We love YT Premium and watch it almost exclusively; we only need broadcast TV for NFL once a week during football season. I just can't justify the YT TV cost though.
