If the old time fighters applied todays training methods they would definitely be even better than they were. Very much like the transition Holyfield used as he moved up to Heavyweight. With Strength and conditioning, nutrition. Fighters back then also fought more often to put food on the table. It was necessary.

I hate when guys walk in between reps. It's a crutch and they could get more balance if you go right into the next rep instead of taking 2 extra steps to gather ones self.
