C-Section Recovery Plan: Workout #3 - heal and strengthen your body post C-section, postpartum

Today’s workout is workout #3 from the C-Section Recovery Plan.

The C-Section Recovery Plan is designed specifically for mamas recovering from a C-Section and are cleared by their doctors to exercise. This plan will heal and strengthen your body post C-Section. The primary focus is on the core, as well as supporting muscles for a full-body workout.

The C-Section Recovery Plan includes 10 workouts, lasting 15 minutes each. The plan builds progressively as you get stronger with each workout.

Make sure to perform the workouts in the designated sequence for best results. I recommend doing this workout 2-3 times within the span of a week or two before moving on to the next workout in the plan.

These workouts are also safe and effective for all postpartum women or anyone recovering from an injury or surgery (so long as you are cleared by your doctor to exercise).

Equipment needed: mat or soft surface

This is my 3rd week doing your c-sec recovery videos every night, and I can finally fit into my pre baby jeans, and I’m FINALLY starting to like my belly again, the scale has budged down for the first time in months. My baby is 5mo tomorrow! I really really wanted and tried hard to have a natural birth, but it didn’t happen, and the fact that I never ever wanted a c-sec and was a bit traumatized about unwanted surgery made my belly shelf hate 100x worse, so this is helping my self-love. I share these videos on my FB all the time and recommend to other moms!

I've been doing these 3 times a week, 2(ish) weeks per video. This workout felt really like a workout the first time I did it. Today was the 3rd time doing this one, and it already feels a lot less intense ❤ So this really works! My twin boys are 5 months now. It feels great to be working towards a stronger body again.
Thank you so much! 🥰💪

I’m 8 weeks pp. I’ve spent 1 week on each workout. This one felt challenging in the best way! I had a really active pregnancy so mindfully taking it slower in recovery has been hard. I’m so glad I found this playlist!

I started these video 5 months postpartum and I need at least 2 weeks to finish one video because I definitely don’t have time to workout every day 😅 I struggled a lot with the first video! Just finished video number 3 and I see so much improvement! I am so much stronger and doing all exercises easily, I really cannot believe this. Thank you so much for this amazing playlist! 😊

I am 9 months post-partum via c-section and starting this program; I am in week 3. I suffer from multiple back problems including 6-8 herniated discs. This is the first exercise program gentle and stable enough not to aggravate all my injuries. After one week my back already feels better than it has in years! Thank you

I have a bloated tummy like I'm still 4 months pregnant 🤣 But I'm now almost 6 months postpartum. I found your videos last month and now, Ive done workout 1 thrice, workout 2 five times (but not everyday) and now this is my first time doing workout 3. My belly is still there but I believe it would go away soon. With all the overwhelming videos in youtube, your videos are the best! I feel like they're effective. Thank you for this whole recovery program! It really helps a lot to guide us in what workouts to do post C-section.

4 month sleep regression in winter has me in survival mode! Haven’t been able to move my body much. When I do finally have a moment and feel good enough to workout I find myself coming back to these videos. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing your hard work with us! I’m learning so much from you and I know God led me to your channel! I’m 8 months out from my 4th c-section and I am learning things I should have known years ago. ❤

I seriously love your videos!! They work so great and are so nice for starting back out.

I also love how you talk us through everything and give us constant reminders throughout, it’s like your reading my mind during the workouts 😅 thank you!!

Whew. This one definitely increased in difficulty from last week. Looking forward to sitting with this one for probably two weeks. After 17.5 years post-op, I really appreciate you over explaining everything. I have a lot of bad habits to retrain!

That Supine reverse march is killing me. 😭 9 weeks postpartum and started your series shortly after the 6 week mark. I love the exercises, perfect length and gentle enough for me to do. Feel like my shelf is noticeably reduced already! Thank you!

Thank you so much for these videos!! I've always played a lot of sports, but after my pregnancy and emergency C-section i just didn't know where to start again. I was planning to follow a back to fit program with my pelvic floor physiotherapist, but the waiting list is up to 10 months and I just can't stand to wait that long. So grateful i run into these videos ❤

Postpartum with baby 4 and loving this series and how you guide and build each week! Wish I had done this the first 3 times. With the supine reverse March - should there be any gapping in the back, or entire back from tailbone to shoulders completely flat? Really struggling with that one! Thanks! 5:55

Love these exercises!! I feel like every time that I do these, I see the difference in my body 😊😊
My only struggle is finding time to exercise more often, but it's just so hard with a little baby 🙄🙄🙄
