He needs to mend his relationship with his mother and father. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a great mum but for those of us who did, we really appreciate our mum’s staying and holding the fort for us. These men can say all they want because they are mad at something/ someone but most single mothers are trying and doing their best. We also appreciate the men who step up and help raise kids who are not their own, as well as actual present dads to their kids.

Perhaps if young men stayed responsible for the children they create, there WOULD be 2 parents in more households. It’s never as simple. If you can go “and get” those children from their mothers, why didn’t you take on your responsibility from the beginning?

I’ve know this for a while and he’s confirmed it. He has serious Mommy issues. I pray for his courage to face himself and get help. Well that's because the men always leave PERIOD! They will not come and voluntarily take care of the children most of the time. Stop hating on single mom's. There are a lot of hard working mom's out there trying to do there best.

I looked up his statistics on single fathers, they don’t exist. The economics of a single parent household is the leading indicator of incarceration. In recent years if there is only one source of income in a two parent household the incarceration rates are slowly starting to reach the same level as if there is only one parent in home.

I was a single mother had two children erase them and then I raised my daughters 3 Children. My son Takes care of me now that I have some health issues and I'm older. He went to college he got a teaching degree then he went into law enforcement and he's been working in law-enforcement for over 20 years. He has two grown children my daughter has three grown children and I have a great grandchild. My son told me he never got in trouble because he never wanted to disappoint me. I never hit my kids but I knew where they were who were they were with and what they were doing at all times. So don't tell me single mothers can't be good mothers they can in fact they can be better.

It is always good to come from a two-parent home however it does not determine the decisions a child/adult child makes. You can come from the best parents possible.

If your a single mother, introduce your children to God the father. The Bible says teach a child in the way they should go and when they are old they shall not depart from it. I grew up without a dad but from an early age I remember experiencing God. God becomes a father to those who are fatherless and he gives comfort as a mother comforts her child.

I disagree to disagree because it depends on how you were raised. I choose to be a single mother, I refused to be abused by anybody son. I have 3 sons 2 are grown 1 teen and not even one of my sons have been in jail. Putting in church and creating a positive environment for them was the best thing. Not all men are good male role models. Because if nobody taught him how to be a man, how can he teach any boy how to be one period
