#Jesus #Christ #hell

This is how Jesus Christ of the Bible described Hell. Have you been taught that Hell is a place of unending torture, a place where demons torture people for fun, or that Hell and the Lake of fire is the same thing? Well, Christs teachings may give you a different perspective on what Hell actually is.

To call someone “Raca” expressed contempt for their intelligence. Calling someone a fool showed contempt for their character. Either one broke the heart of the law against murder, even if it did not commit murder.

Revelation 14:11 The smoke of their torment will rise forever and ever, and they will have no relief day or night, for they have worshiped the beast and his statue and have accepted the mark of his name.”

Thank you, brother Will. Your messages always inspire a deeper study, and that's food for the soul. Even the crumbs that fall from Father's table are priceless! ❤

Solid Bible lesson brother Will. The parable from Luke isn't actually a parable. I believe it's based on a true story. Jesus gives us a small glimpse of how hell will be. Abraham, and all saved saints who are asleep are with Jesus (in spirit) in Heaven. The rich man wasn't named because he's insignificant and unimportant. Once he and multitudes of others are condemned there, their names will be forgotten and burned up. Lazarus was a beggar, or what we call homeless today. Begging is better than stealing. Today's churches don't talk about hell because churches need to fill seats and make money. Thus, "pastors" make sure they preach health and wealth, feel good therapy, Jesus overlooks sin because He is love, period. False teachers are hell bound as well. Brothers and sisters, have a safe and blessed day.

Hell doesn't scare me.

Hearing "depart from me" does....

Psalm 30 provides an interesting read in the context of this video. It references those in hell (or the pit) as being dust. And also states that God's wrath is short and has an end to it while his favor and blessing lasts an eternity

This was so indepth and the clearest and direct break down of the most pressing questions to those who seek wisdom. And it's coming from someone who sounds like a teenager". The shows is that we can't have a pre deposition of what widom looks like, so keep your eyes open" because you never know from where your next answer will come from. 😊 great work brother" great work.

Recall what Jesus said on the cross. My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?? Meaning, why have you left me?? Not only is it torture forever, but you are separated from God. We have Him here right now. Unbelievers do too. Jesus said, I am the Light of the world. Since Jesus spoke all of creation into existence, then it makes sense to conclude that He is not only the spiritual light, but also the physical light. When God separated Himself from Jesus, Jesus went to Hell. Thats why His Death on the cross is SOOOO significant!!. He experienced that torment and torture in our place. We cannot comprehend what being separated from God is even like. And, think about this, when Jesus says, Depart from me" .. and He is everywhere....where are you departing to?? Thats torture in itself!! Thats why He "wishes that NONE should perish!!". Yes, contemplate about Hell, but, like Jesus said, we should "fear Him who can cast BOTH body and soul into hell". As Charles Stanley said, "Obey God, and leave all the consequences to Him".

I’ve heard that Lazarus represents non Hebrew people needing the gospel and dogs are also symbolic of Gentiles. They help there own but didn’t have the Gospel.
The rich man represented the Jews that thought because they are Gods chosen and Abrahams seed they were going to be saved. Could say the first shall be last and the last first.
One did rise named Jesus and did they they believe???

Yes, to some extent it sounds like the fire is eternal but not necessarily the torment. It sounds like either you burn up out of existence or you are cut off from God's people in a destitute lonely and sufferable tournament until you pay your last penny. Whatever that means. Long story short, just do God's will so you don't have to find out 😕.

Matthew says the fires of Gehenna for some reason hades, sheol, Gehenna and tartus in the Greek are all translated hell, not in the Greek. Gehenna a burn pit outside Jerusalem. Same with Mark 9:47 and 48 and Isaiah 66:24 explains it.

Hell is mercy before the lake of fire. And Hell is finite.. The everlasting mass is the lake of fire.

I can't imagine bad hell would be like, the worst part is that it's eternal! 😢 Jesus saves! Jn 3:16

I'm struggling with this exact thing. I've been leaning towards the final judgment lake of fire being a complete destruction of body and soul.

"If they hear not Moses, neither will they persuaded by one who rose from the dead" sounds like a direct reference to Jesus, himself not a parable about anything else, even though He said it before he was crucified and rose from the dead. I believe He was talking about himself, even though it happened yet, because He knew in advance that it was mission and fate.

Amen! I was taught and believed many of those misconceptions about hell too! It has only been recently that I started to learn what The Bible actually describes hell to be! I also wonder why hell is described to be eternal and the people will be in there forever but also the body and soul will be destroyed too. Either way, hell seems like a terrible place and I never want to go there! I want to be with God in heaven. Jesus died for our sins and if we accept him into our hearts and recognize that he paid the price for our sins by dying on the cross for us, we can be in heaven and not pay the price ourselves by being in hell! :D
