What about lifting and lowering the machine to clear dirt and prevent it from embedding straight in the ground???

I “followed” this video and ended up burying my auger bit 3ft straight into clay soil. Had to spend a day digging it out by hand :(

Where can i get one of those auger? I want to build a two floors deck and do not want to waste 20k for it so I do it myself... figure it will cost maybe 5-10k for material and tools.

Yo eff this tool. Is it a lot faster? Sure, but it's also a PAIN IN THE BUTT! If you lose even the slightest control of this, you're getting hip checked, and twisting your wrist. No matter how strong your grip, this thing is a pain. However, it's A LOT faster than a post hole digger...

Just rent a small tractor with an auger attachment. These manual augers can really injure somebody and you can't get any deeper than 3 feet.

How about a cold start? You might need to wait for it to idle or it will shut off unexpectedly

That tool looks dangerous it needs a jig to be build for it so you don't have to stand so close
