I’ve come to the conclusion that there are NO etched in stone specific set of symptoms- NO one size fits everyone. In fact far from it! I had a major stroke in Feb this year and had very very different symptoms. I had “ restless leg” and that was it! The next morning my speech began slightly slurred and then the damage caused by my stroke began to rear its ugly head. Paralysis on left side etc.... who would ever think my restless leg pain was me having a stroke?? Then I met tons of other stroke victims with totally different symptoms as well. Many had no “ text book” symptoms at all- and one was diagnosed as having a panic attack during the course of actually having a stroke. Doctors didn’t even recognize her having a stroke. So we are all up the creek....

I'm 49 yrs old. I've been having a symptom of strokes, like the Tia . I've been asked by my doctor to have a CT scan but it's very expensive in my country.so I've to keep putting it off.My symptoms includes numbness of the face, pain in neck and shoulders, weakness, sometimes burning sensation in my head. I'm also diabetic and hypertensive. It leaves me worried everyday thinking I'm going to die. It's only the power of God keeping me.I feel blessed to be able to make it each day.

Ive keep getting bad headaches and ive had really high blood pressure for the last 3 weeks. My ankles are always swollen and im 4 mnth preg. Everytime i go to the emergency room they say my blood pressure is nothing to wrry about. The first time i had high blood pressure it was 180 over 122. I was told to go home and relax by the hospital. But my mom and dad both had heart attacks and strokes at the same numbers. What do i do
