1. ISCHEMIC

* Caused by a blood clot
* Most common type
* Less blood flow in the brain

TIA: TRANSIENT ISCHEMIC ATTACK

* Caused by a temporary clot - "mini-stroke"
* Mini-strokes are usually no more than 20 minutes but "ALWAYS" an emergency

2. HEMORRHAGIC

* Blood vessel bursts
* Excess blood in the brain
