This is pretty well done. Thank you! The tension between God’s sovereign will and what happens in our lives is challenging. The story of Joseph is one of my favorite examples of how God’s sovereignty works. Romans 8:28 is probably one of my favorite verses, and one I cling to through the challenges of this current life.

One thing that seems to not be addressed, at least in this video, is the work of the still active Adversary and his kingdom in our lives. While Satan is a defeated foe, there are still demons active and acting upon this world and its inhabitants, and that is sometimes quite hard to grasp and combat, if you don’t understand your authority in Christ Jesus, which many of us sadly don’t understand fully, or forget or fail to exert. I wonder if you have (or could) address this in another video.

I look forward to the day when Jesus comes to fully establish his Kingdom here and all sorrows cease, though I am glad he yet tarries, because so many I love do not yet know or acknowledge him as both Savior and LORD.

"For THOU hast CREATED ALL things, and for THY PLEASURE they are and were created" - REVELATION. THAT IS SOVEREIGNTY!

I don’t know a Christian that does not believe that God is not sovereign. In his sovereignty He can choose conditions for salvation such as faith and repentance. That would not compromise His character that is love, grace and mercy. Sovereignty is not his main attribute, but his status. God IS love.
For me believing that God arbitrarily chooses unconditionally only some for salvation means limited love, limited grace, limited mercy. It’s no longer the God Jesus portrayed, when he prayed for forgiveness of the sins of his enemies in the cross while dying for them.
