We don't say "no king over us, " we say, "No king but Jesus".

Amen. Yes, this is perfectly summed up. Who indeed can challenge God? Who can say to Him, why have You made me, or why did you not stop such and such. What absolute arrogance and folly. God by His very nature and defenition does not require to be answerable to anyone or anything, or else He would cease to be God, and therefor not truly Sovereign. To be God means to be Sovereign. The Only Person to Whom God would yield would be to Himself, in such a way that Christ submits to the authority of the Father, yet scripture is clear that the Father gifts all authority to the Son and the Holy Spirit yields to Christ and the Father by surrendering to the Will of the thrice perfect and Holy One. In that I am confounded beyond what scripture teaches us, but I am not such a fool as to think I can superimpose my will on God. It might seem at the moment that I am succeeding, but in short order I would find that my arrogant rebellion has been found out and I am destined for swift correction.

Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins. I’m still trusting in you even though I’m struggling putting groceries in the refrigerator, and paying bills. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, Im all alone. I’m a single mother. Both of my sons are autistic and non verbal. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I post my story all over to spread awareness of what mandates are doing, not just to myself but to many other families. I’ve been put down and mocked because of my circumstances it truly hurts me. BUT even after all these things. I STILL HAVE FAITH GOD WILL PROVIDE. He has sent strangers to help me. I’m forever grateful! EVEN as I face homelessness seemly every month with two young children. I have faith our Heavenly Father will provide. Thank you Jesus.

Isaiah 46:10 and Ephesians 1:11 are also great powerful verses that talk about the absolute sovereignty of God in all things.

Not to us, O Lord, not to us,
But to Your name give glory
Because of Your lovingkindness,
because of Your truth.
Why should the nations say,
“Where, now, is their God?”
But our God is in the heavens;
He does whatever He pleases.
— Psalm 115:1-3

“But at the end of that period,
I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever;
For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
And His kingdom endures from generation to generation.
“All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing,
But He does according to His will in the host of heaven
And among the inhabitants of earth;
And no one can ward off His hand
Or say to Him, ‘What have You done?’
— Daniel 4:34-35

Is God free enough and powerful enough to handle the free will choices of his creatures rather than giving the elect a godly nature that they can do nothing but follow or the reprobate a sinful nature that they have no option but to follow?

The problem is your Western view of liberal democracy and your penchant for individual freedom.

We Asians understand the sovereignty of God more easily because we accept more readily even human authority over us.
