UDR - Looking forward to this since I been looking at the UDM. I have the AmpliFi HD currently and looking to upgrade my home network. I think this is great for those who do not want to have a server rack but instead a good network solution in a compact package. I can see using this with the Unifi lite switches. Exciting!

Interesting but why not using WLAN6E instead? I miss a 2, 5/10Gbit Port for NAS and other highspeed sharing options as well.

I bought a UDM Pro last week for my home specifically because the UDM seemed lacking (let along lacking in inventory). The UDR looks exactly like what I really wanted.

My current mesh network is ok but my house is weird…so I’ve been looking at the Unifi options. The UDM looked awesome but I had a sneaking suspicion that WiFi 6 and some PoE might be down the road and bam, here we are. This new machine looks like the perfect intro to the Unifi space for an advanced home user that doesn’t need quite as many options as your other offerings. Awesome stuff!

Great product apart from one MAJOR flaw. The WAN Port can not handle gigabit speeds. I have a case open with support for months now that has no sign of being fixed. I have an FTTP 900mbps internet connection but at best, the WAN throughput can only achieve approximately 2/3 of that. There seems to be an issue that is throttling the WAN interface but no fix yet (ive performed many tests using a variety of ways to present the internet connection)

Wish it had PoE+, since the AP W6 Pro and LR requires that.

But besides that it is exactly what I've been waiting for before upgrading my home wifi.
Also hope the fan isn't too loud or easily upgradable.

Those are some nice new features but what about the CPU and the real HW inside?
How about the PPPOE throughput issues that affects UDM, UDM-PRO and UDM-PRO-SE ?
If this issue is fixed at HW level then I would consider swapping my current UDM.

what is the Timeline ? as many of other mentioned, need either 2 x 2.5g or 1 x 2.5g + 1 x 10G port, and upgradable internal SSD, 1T SSD is pretty cheap these days
