Ubiquiti... Your customers tell you "exactly" what they want. And then your directors of product development, completely ignore the customers. Why?

Odd not seeing the RGB “Etherlighting” on this newer model. But it’s featured in the video on other products, please try to make the lineup a bit more consistent.

We want Etherlighting and faster ports. We know the R&D isnt that crazy to make these upgrades, especially for the price. GbE has been around for a quarter of a century, anyone interested in this is going to want more.

Can't wait for udm pro max ultra se

Hopefully we will get an "Ultra" to compliment this new "Pro Max". Init7 (Swiss ISP) offers 25Gbps WAN (through tapping into P2P FTTH) which would be cool to use directly with Unifi. Sad that they abandoned their "USW-Leaf" a few years ago that offered up to 100Gbps switching. Hope to see some more "datacenter"-class 25+Gbps products that also just so happen to be usable for needlessly fast ISP-provided internet connections.

Why on is there not 2.5 gb on the switch ports? I just don’t get it. I know you guys are making “prosumer” products - but please, we need 2.5 on the UDM.

Glad to see we finally have a better udm for more high workloads. I would love to see a new redesign though. Yes, is powerfull but it stills have the same cpu with a tiny clock boost and 4 extra gb of ram. Love the effort nonetheless. Better is nothing but i will wait a little more.

The keystone of the Pro Max branding, is Etherlighting- I mean I'd rather have 4x10G ports (for small star topology), or all 2.5GbE, or PoE, but it sure seems like a big branding miss to omit Etherlighting from a UI Pro Max product.

Ubiquti turn on Raid 0 on that drive. You are just being cruel to us! We don't need an ashtray

A step has been made, yea! Now, we need the UDM Enterprise please. That's the one I want and need!

Would have loved to have heard some specs like multi-Gig ports and PoE++ support. Love my UDM-SE but those are a couple of the limitations on it. (No multi-Gig LAN side and not even PoE+ on all PoE ports) This Pro-Max looks sweet!

@Ubiquiti your competition uses a second processor for DPS/IPS to not affect their full wire speed. I am not sure why you are still behind on this? Lets hope you next Dream Machine it at par to what your compeition is offering. For now its a great device to upgrade my home lab with, nothing more.

This would be the go to device for small businesses now, you don’t have to buy a separate UNVR and save money and rack space while doing it!

Finally, the long-awaited upgrade. Great! Is it still the Annapurna Labs AL324 simply with increased clock speed (2.0 GHz vs. 1.7 GHz) or is it a new CPU?

This is cool and all, but can we create IPv6-only VLANs yet?

I wonder why they opted to not have PoE on these ports
