One thing I’ve notice is it kept working locally on my network when our internet connection was down. Not sure if that’s standard, but was handy.

Just to confirm, I am looking for a remote assistance program to install on my elderly mother’s new chrome book. Right now during COVID-19, I have to keep my distance from her. But she needs a new computer. So, I plan to use this assistant to help my mom learn how to use the chrome book. I will be talking with her on the phone and she would have her chrome book opened and I would show her how to use the various icons on the screen. Will my plan work? I am receiving the chrome book and I will load it up with the necessary apps that she will need. I would make myself the chrome book owner, and make an account for her. For security reasons I am going to block guest user.I’ll do this before giving it to her. Hopefully my plan will work. Thank you so much for this video, it gives me hope.

My experience in the past, it doesn't allow remote user to enter credentials into UAC prompts so not very useful to me for admin tasks.

So I just got this recently. One MAJOR thing that needs to be looked at is this, When you launch it from the remote PC then open task manager on the one you are accessing you will see that the CPU is rather high. about 30-40% on my laptop. But if you close the tab / backward/forwards then return to the remote access page the CPU will drop back down to near its normal idle rate. (I'm not sure if this is just an issue with my devices) Maybe it's an issue when accessing a laptop with the lock-screen / screen off. Tried to find where to contact them about this but can't find anything.

Great video Lawrence. I have google chrome install on my computer and the one I remote into; however today I tried to remote in and in and my computer does show the name of the computer but it does not say online. It say last online June 29, 2020 and it is grayed out so it will not let me connect, any ideas? I noticed that you have a slide out tab that I do no have. What version do you have and how do I check the version I have?

Thanks for this helpful video. I have tried to add thjis app to my desktop. I have a Google account. When I try to add the app to my desktop, it asks me which device I want to add it to and it offers only my phone and ymy tablet. ONLY. How can I add tis to my desktop?
