"if you want something done, give it to a busy person" that was the main takeaway for me

I tend to procrastinate because of the extreme stress and anxiety studying gives me. I'm a perfectionist and the last few years I've experienced a lot of 'failure', which probably leads to me having these feelings. Despite me aknowledging this, I can't bring myself to change...

1) Procrastination is a protective measure from bad measure
2) Create a conscious hould and want self (magret and Peggy)
3) Create a to-don't list with short term wants
4)

I used to procrastinate a lot on exercise, until I got a lot better at it, and stronger. So I guess I procrastinate to avoid feelings of incompetence.

I am writing this on a Saturday, 15.55 PM on 11.4.2020. The video has been on my "Watch Later" playlist since March 18th… I am 3 minutes into the vid and am already going through the comments looking for a summary.

Real interesting information here about such a common problem we all suffer from!

I started my YouTube channel just doing VLOGS, but after watching videos like this and reading books about self improvement I've shifted gears. It's amazing how much we can improve ourselves with just a few tweaks here and there in our routines and habits.

Well now with Covid 19 I have too much time, at the end of the day all I did was playing video games And I have work to deliver next week.

you should interview programmers! Authors or writers are such a niesche, specialised and creative activity which is somehow always used as an example about procrastinating but I think it is not comparable to most other trades.

Shortening the workweek woudln't work as well for me since I feel like my energy drops intermittently so I'm really bad at jobs where continual use of energy and focus is needed.
Getting 20 hours effective work done requires 35 hour work week with slack spread inbetween the hours. If I was to try and do it all in only 20 hours then there would be slack spread between those hours and it'd be less anyway.
*I miss the days when I could have high energy the entire day. I didn't even understand that all people do'nt have that before i didn't as i got older.*
