One day, I found out that I was working around 10 hours a day, and everytime I had free time I used it to catch up on work. I suffer from arthrosis so my neck was in unbelievable pain and I realized that I didn't like my job and, most of all, I didn't even make enough money to justify the effort. Today, I'm procrastinating a lot, because I don't want to feel the actual pain of working so hard; besides, my dad is getting old and I have new responsibilities I don't want to take. I'm really stressed, I'm overweight, I feel guilty all the time. My greatest fear is physical pain (and a very loud tinnitus). It's very difficult to wake up when headaches and a sore neck are waiting for you to get out of bed.

You are absolutely right! No more procrastinating for me. I had a joke I put up on the refrigerator, it says "I have not yet begun to procrastinate." Haha....its going in the trash!

When I was young I did everything in time. I would not stop until I complete a task. My productivity was enormous. Now everything is post poned, nothing finished, it's like I gave up on

#mind2heart In life, you have to realize that change is a constant. Rather than running away from it, you should entirely and intentionally embrace it because you might live a more satisfying and full life.

Somehow I am afraid of doing something....so we let go of an opportunity. The only risk in life is not to take a risk. When you fail, try again & you get better.

I have this mundane task I need to do for work. It's a pain in the butt. It's a completely pointless exercise, but I have to do it, because those in authority are convinced that it's important.

I have this personal creative project I want to finish. But for some reason I have a terrible time getting myself to really work on it. I've started it over a lot of times and gotten some distance with it. I've gotten it as far as the 80% mark, even, maybe, but that last 20% is just like. Scaling a 10 mile cliff. The last 20% is harder for me than 10 times going through the first 80%. I'm not scared of rejection as far as I can tell, it's just.. I get so tired of fighting with barriers that at some point, the dread of trying to fight with whatever the current barrier is just more than I can deal with emotionally and I just go watch a show or play a game instead of working my project. I know I can get past the barrier, but I know it's going to take a stupid amount of pain and struggle and I'm just not up for it. But.. I don't want to.. die.. without having ever finished this. And if I can't get myself off my butt somehow.. that's what will happen.
