Whether the annexation is done today or the future, the same actors will be making exactly the same noises so better to do it now than later.
Ignore the noises coming from EU because it's a weakening power.
As for the U.N., what good has it ever done to Israel in the recent past decades other than condemn Israel? Ignore the U.N. too.
