Great one dude. Trump is super controversial but I always found him interesting. I read his book called How To Get Rich or something and he seemed like a decent dude and not what was portrayed in the media. I haven't seen much of him beyond his political races lately though.

It is a good book to read for anyone in business, sales, or marketing. I must say it felt much more like a documentary 80 percent of the time rather than explaining of how his direct pitches went, negotiating, and closing occurs. You do learn a lot about real estate, Trumps family ties, known business deals and his landmarks. You get more about learning the sales pointers from Zig Ziglar or Brian Tracy if anyone is looking. So I saw this book as way more of the life of Trump rather than a how to and that may seem obvious but this is just more detailed of a comment on that.

Bargain tutorial:
Step 1; fishing

The waiting game, this is where most of the time is spent, but once a good target has sough you out, it will yearn for the thing sold

Step 2; initial deal

In this part there usually is a deal made, and if this deal is already not satisfactory(tho this can only all be repeated a singular time, this isnt some videogame)you give a light refusal, a simple : "nah sry",

Step 3: denial

and if the buyer is not wanting this light refusal will sort them away, howerver : if the buyer is actively seeking that item,
they will start to raise prices,

Step4 :bargain
You can go back and fourth once, for example the

first was 25

After refusal they will add 10
:35 to sweaten the deal

And to add your own extra you add another step of 10
45

Insisting on this inflated price will only drive away people, so if they lower for example 40,

you can recomend a compromise at 42.5

Step 5:transaction
If all goes according to plan and order the trade happens as bargained, and you stand to likely profit
