Absolutely. Godโ€™s word will stand beyond all others and always matters. Whether Old or New Testament, Godโ€™s word will remain.
Jesus said, โ€œDo not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.โ€ Matthewโ€ฌ โ€ญ5:17โ€ฌ
and
โ€œHeaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.โ€ Matthewโ€ฌ โ€ญ24:35โ€ฌ โ€ญ

What really caught my intention was when he said " In oder to love someone sometimes, you need to tell them hard truths, sacrifice something in you for them", that's LOVE

Jesus said, "If you love Me, keep my commandments." These are; Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. And love your neighbor as yourself.

The law still matters tho. Not the ceremonial but certainly the moral and even principle of the judicial. We see examples of Paul quoting โ€œDo not muzzle an ox while it treads the grainโ€ and he used it as an instance for paying ministers. Law doesnโ€™t bind us anymore when it comes to acquiring salvation but we are still obliged to keep it nonetheless. Not a dot of the law will pass away aside from the fulfilled one by Christ

Dr. Turek is the 2 of the BEST apologists of our time. Dr. John Barnett is the other one. We are very blessed to be born when & where we are bc we get to learn from those two.

When Christ fulfilled the Old Covenant, the 33 books of what Christians understand as the Old Testament did not become uninspired. They are as alive and full of the Spirit as they always have been. If you do not understand the Old Testament, you will struggle to understand Christ and the New Testament properly.

God's moral law still stands and always will. Christ fulfilled the 613 laws which we are no longer bound. Now, we are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. And love our neighbors as ourselves. These two commandments sum up all ten commandments.

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.ย 18ย For truly I tell you, *until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished*ย 19ย Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the *least* of these commandsย and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, *but whoever practices and teaches these commands* will be called great in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5: 17 - 19

Yeshua Jesus never did away with Yahweh God's commandments, he died to take away the sting of death, the penalty that comes with breaking Gods commandments...he paid your penalty but Gods instructions still stand and every time we break them we nail Yeshua back on the cross (Hebrews 6:6) The word Jesus used for Fulfill in this scripture in Greek means "to fill up" "to make whole" it doesn't mean "to make a old scripture come true" ..this is why its important to know your bible

When Paul was talking about not being under "The Law" he wasn't talking about Gods instructions, he was talking about the man made Babylonian Talmud

Acts 10 was not about food it was about bringing repentance to the gentiles

Romans 10:4 (KJV) For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Romans 3:24-26 (KJV) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans 3:26-28 (KJV) To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Galatians 2:16 (KJV) Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 5:3-4 (KJV) For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 4:4-6, 8 (KJV) Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

And if we try to keep some of the other food and clothing etc guidelines (if possible and reasonable) we will be blessed. God knows when it is and isnโ€™t possible for us to keep them. For instance God used or allowed painful physical symptoms to guide me to a diet that really closely resembles the Jewish dietary guidelines. And also I found that when I wear cotton and linen when possible I feel so much better than when I donโ€™t. Just food for thought.

So fulfill means to bring it to a end so Jesus was saying โ€œ I didnโ€™t come to do away with the law, I came to end itโ€? Youโ€™ve got to be kidding. If the law, Jewish law, no where does it say that. Itโ€™s not Jewish law itโ€™s Gods law. Why does God expect the Nations to keep the Feast of Tabernacles or not receive its yearly allotment of rain?

Itโ€™s a contradiction to say โ€œdo not think that I have come to destroy the law and the prophets. I do not come to destroy but to (abolish, replace, do away with, etc)โ€
When he says FULFILL, it must mean to provide meaning to, or to fill up to give purpose. It can not mean to do away with . If the law has been โ€œdone away withโ€ then, sin does not exist by definition. Sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4. Christ does not nullify or replace the law. He provides the spiritual intent behind the law.

I need yโ€™all to pray for my mother. She is getting very deep into this whole Hebrew roots movement. I feel like thereโ€™s a danger in that movement. Iโ€™ve noticed a lot of them think that obeying and keeping the feast days is sort of โ€œgiving them more favor with Godโ€ like itโ€™s giving them a better chance at getting to Heaven. They donโ€™t specifically say that, but they hint towards it and they have a โ€œIโ€™m better than youโ€ attitude about them because of it.
