When I see this I usually silently and wothout bothering anyone try to make faces at the kid, usually they stop crying, if not I just tell the parents hey that’s an adorable baby, your doing a great job baby’s are hard but you look like a great parent! Usually parents are trying there best and they know their kid way better than I do lol 😂

I feel that last one deeply! I currently have a 9-month-old who is our first and our only. People are constantly telling me not to blink and I’m like “I’m soaking it in as much as I can!” I won’t miss the sleep regressions or teething phases that is for sure!

I just say hi to the kids some kids just smile at me or get interested in me their sometimes kids talk to me at work so i answers their questions but that pretty much it.

I love kids and have babysat for my family, and I absolutely can't fathom how people feel so entitled as to parent someone else's kid.
Baby's parent has got this. Little ones fuss and cry because that's how they communicate. If Parent is present, Parent is able to handle it.

Everytime I heard a kid cry at work i always gave them a sticker of their choice thank u shein and temu for having stickers under a dollar (im one of them spectrum sellers u see in Walmart food 4 less and ralphs)

At jcpennies one time a random toddler grabbed my leg and would not let go. I just staid where I was until a frantic mom can rushing over with her 5 other kids.

Actually according to psychologist Mary Ainsworth who drafted attachment styles says this is the most beneficial style and these children will be less insecure, more capable to deal with anxiety etc.

One time when me my dad and my brother were at the zoo my brother got in trouble for complaining so much and he was like kinda crying and a stranger walked by and was like well someone is not having it huh? Like ok he’s literally getting in trouble would you be having it?
