Becoming a mother, particularly now made to be a single mother, has opened my eyes on how much these liberal ideologies do not work.

I was brought up picking berries and milking goats and learning how to be a homemaker and felt like there was something wrong with me for wanting those things as I got older so I assimilated into society which led me down a dark lonely narcissistic path.

Becoming a mother is showing me the love and beauty of this world that God has created for us to enjoy. Having a husband and more children would be a dream. I vowed to do everything i can to protect my child from the nonsense and do my best to raise her up with values, morals, principles, and a healthy relationship with her creator.

I am a stay at home mother who gave up a good career 12 years ago to homeschool my kids. I’m blessed with a good husband and together we both make sacrifices to raise our kids according to our beliefs and values. It is often hard and we often have to put our own wants second to the needs of others. I can honestly say that I am proud of the woman I am. I feel valued and appreciated. I feel that what I do matters and I believe that I will be very glad of the decisions I made when I get to the end of my life. I am the antithesis of modern day feminism and wokeism and thank God for that!

I once chatted with a young woman whose boyfriend talked her into doing things I had to look up the definition of, which were not only loathsomely degrading but dangerous to her life and health. She was unsure if she had any right to object, since he was always saying he’d just find someone else who was more ‘open minded” if she refused. I tried to persuade her that not even a drug-addicted hooker should have to tolerate what he wanted, that the possibility that he actually loved her was zero, and she needed to get out of that relationship. I hope she wised up, or she’ll probably spend her life thinking she is worth no more than the very low value he placed on her.

Abortion is an abomination but is sold to women as a saving grace. I have no problem with women being able to work but it has led to a generation of women who have put a career above family. (I used to be one of them!) I wish motherhood AND fatherhood was more respected. Maybe we wouldn't be where we are today if men and women took responsibility for raising their kids instead of acting like they were an encumbrance to their lives.🤔😔

You're ignoring something important that infused our culture in the 60's, and probably before that. I grew up in the 60's as a middle class female. The message I was given through movies, TV series, attitudes in my community and in my family was that women had four possible roles in life: unhappy slave, happy slave (like the wives in TV sitcoms), luxury object existing to allow men to prove their virility to other men and what my father called "castrating bitches." I never heard anyone suggest that the role of keeping a home and raising children held ANY value or merit, let alone spirituality. Most of the married women I knew as a kid stayed at home. They were denigrated as "mere housewives" and stereotyped as lazy bums who laid around watching soap operas and eating bon bons all day. If our culture had placed any value on the important role they played and communicated the message that it was valuable, women and girls would have been much less desperate to escape it in favor of some professional recognition through careers. My mother gained no community recognition until her kids grew up and she defied her husband's objections and built a career for herself outside the home.
A world in which a homemakers role is valued would be a better world, but you have a lot of convincing to do before enough people will value it. I've never seen such a world in the last 66 years.
