I was raised by a nuclear family with a SAHM. I met a young man when I was 22, and we were planning on marrying, but he broke it off when I was 25. I dated a bit (no 304 behavior), worked as an RN, bought my own house, and just truly wanted to meet a good man. I met my husband at 35, babies at 37 and 40. I’m 45 now and was glad to move on from a 15 year RN career to being a SAHM and homeschooling. Nothing has brought me more contentment and happiness that being a wife and mother. It’s a challenge, and it’s deeply fulfilling. Thank you God for blessing me so much!

I was overseas. The women literally would say they only "Date for Marriage" (The implication is only serious dating and no sex right away). These women are from 19 to 30.... Their marriage rate is way higher, and divorce rate way lower than the US.

They also don't have Divorce Rape, so men actually want to get married.

Men don't want to lose their life's work and children to a woman's whim, particularly since she will be treated as a hero for leaving you. That makes you the villan.

I am from England and I met my Thai wife when she was had just turned 19 and me 20, we have been together 39 years, we are both very traditional and I hope she is as happy as I am, she had our 1st son at 21, we had lots of traditional family support, we lived in a big house with my grandparents and her mother came over from Thailand every year for 10 years to help with the kids, marriage has worked for us

I just listened to my sister (graduated with a psych master degree yesterday) talk to my other sister (school teacher) about how all the professional women they know hate their husbands and use drugs. They weren't disgusted. They actually laughed and thought it was empowering. Their husbands sat quietly, perhaps regretting their marital choices; I, too, sat quietly, somewhat vindicated for my bachelorhood.

There are TONS of guys like myself who would love to have a solid family life, no games, no drama, no craziness, but until women get things sorted out better, we are content letting that tire fire burn itself out.
