my wife and I have 3 kids met in hs been together for 16 years married for 8 she stayed home with all the kids until they went to school now we run our own landscaping business and we wouldn't have it any other way. she's the best damn woman ever and has a good head on her shoulders.

I agree that the corporate world isn't for everyone. My husband hates it. That's why he stays at home with our four kids while I work. He's much happier being a stay at home dad, and I'm much happier being a working mom. And our kids are thriving because we're thriving. You have to find the balance that works for your family. Don't let people push their fear, intolerance, or hate on your family.

AMEN We have a severe cultural dilemma. The dual income household was the biggest blunder of our time. It was a 'women in the workplace' brainwashing... Carting our kids off to daycare and after school programs, and creating a more complex environment at home? Pathetic. And more money flowing into the household translates to a higher cost of living across the board. A single parent can no longer make it on their own because we bought into this idea of two working parents per household. And what does the government do? They put a band aid on it by pushing welfare instead of supporting a single income household culture. We've turned our culture against itself!

Don’t give up! I met my man at 38. We’ve got three beautiful children and 25 years of marriage. Do I wish it happened when I was younger? Doesn’t matter, I praise God it did happen at all!!!
