FAQ
Q: Why do you pronounce "women" the same as "woman"?
A: I am South African with a particular Queen's English/south of England tinge to my accent. Please be understanding, respectful and don't send me emails or leave comments about this. Thank you :)

As a Zoomer, I feel that my neglect of TikTok has only benefited my life. It’s as if I’m detached from a kind of virtual detachment to reality.

A man saying "kids aren't as hot as they used to be" while also talking about low intelligence is extremely telling

According to an aesthetics company. Hmm... Sounds like they're trying to gaslight a generation into buying cosmetic procedures.

They cherry pick "ugly" pictures, with no makeup, no hairstyle and with a particular expression to compare with a smiling woman who wears makeup and whose hair is down and styled

I'm walking proof Chinese facial Feng Shui is bonkers. I've got pretty much every trait of a person bound to be rich, yet I'm dirt poor, don't have any particular economic sense and also lack any ambition to grow wealthy.

I'm basically the quintessential eccentric hermit who just lives(unsuccessfully) for the arts and yet apparently have the face of a future billionaire.

Where's my money, China?

It’s weird that people would say this when you could look up 1950’s actresses and see the same types of faces.

Fixating on single facial features, sizes, or colors showcases an completley absent sense of beauty because beauty is a matter of interest, harmony, and emotion. These tiktokers need to put down their phones and go to a museum.

I don’t think gen z is less attractive, I think it’s that we’ve changed our standard of who we expect to see in commercials, tv etc. Growing up in the early 2000’s pretty much every fashion model, super model, and even most lead actresses in tv were all super attractive, far more than the average person. Nowadays the fashion models for most clothing brands just look like regular people, because brands are far less picky about who they choose, which I personally think it’s a good thing. However just looking at media today and media at any point in history before 2010, there’s a stark difference in conventional attractiveness to those shown on camera, which gives the illusion like our generation ran out of attractive people to cast which just isn’t true

Way to call the WHOLE generation ugly. These people weird me out. What society deemed attractive throughout the ages changed basically with every generation. Not to mention individual preferences may differ from person to person. Kinda feels like these people are insecure and trying to feel better about themselves, by dragging the other generation down. :I

I don’t personally know anyone, Zoomer or otherwise, who looks like these actresses with the wide-set eyes, just like I don’t know too many X’ers who look like Angelina Jolie. I’d say in both cases, this is a preference of Hollywood, not an accurate representation of anyone in either generation.

Here is a gorgeous zoomer cashier, as proof that zoomers are unattractive!
I see...
Picture of beautiful women, and of different beautiful women, to... demonstrate women nowadays are unattractive?
Such outstanding logic, I am speechless!

Have you noticed teenagers in yearbooks look older but take an average 40-45 year old today, they will quite often look way way younger than a 40 something year old a few decades ago.

From my experience, when people decide they dislike your personality they start to attack your facial features. It has nothing to do with the actualy facial features or whether they actually find you beautiful or ugly. Somebody who has a bad personality will immediately lose all the good looks in most people's eyes. For Zeigler, people dislike the way she talks, call her cringe and her personality unpleasant and that is why they started to also attack her looks. I remember people praising her looks before her interviews came out and only afterwards did people start saying bad things about the way she looks. For Bailey, people were upset about the Disney remake so they attacked her appearance. It's never actually about the appearance, except maybe in the case of Anya Taylor-Joy who people also make fun of for having wide set eyes but I don't think people particularly dislike her personality (correct me if I'm wrong because I don't know much about her). She just had the misfortune of being lumped together with the other two at a time when it's really popular to bring down women for their looks.

Younger women are not as fixated on the male gaze, there fore their over all looks, via make up, clothes, fabrics, textures, colours, haircuts, shapes in shilouettes, shoes, patterns, and accessories makes them look more unike and less like the ideal. Earlier generations did not embrace their uniqueness as much. Now young women (dare to) choose to accentuate features they want to enhance, rather than what society/the norm tells us to want to look like to fit in. I believe this is one of the factors as well. We want to look more diverse, we choose and dare to accentuate our unique features more than generations before us did. We used to do all we possible could to fit the mould. All the beauty books and tips and tricks was designed to trick the eye into believing we had for example long legs, even ratio lips, etc etc
You were expected to hide and accentuate to look identical, according to the set norm, wich was never as wide and diverse as today.
