Really appreciate your reactions, especially the fact that you can catch, and understand the many little intricacies that lie underneath the top layer of most songs. You should listen to the studio-verson of Tool - Pushit. Then, jump straight over to the live-version of the song from the Salival-album which takes it to a completely different and beautiful direction.

The coolest part of this song to me is what Carey does in the middle; at 8:20 he's playing on the hi-hat in 5/16 overtop the band's 4/4. Then at 9:02 he goes into a 5/8 groove overtop the 4/4.
