Tool 'Lateralus' One Year Later (reaction episode 241)

Показать описание

In this video I react to Lateralus by Tool about a year after originally reacting to it. I have avoided it because it was so emotionally triggering for me. But now that I think I understand why it made me cry, I'm interested to see what reacting to it will be like once more.

Hi, I'm Dean Wolfe, a classic prog-rock guitar teacher on YouTube. I grew up on 70s progressive music but abandoned the genre by the 90s because it was too 'hard-edged' for me. My all-originals prog band was rejected by record labels as "too progressive' in the late 80s, so i went into grunge, pop and alternative instead (then folk and acoustic fingerstyle guitar).
2020 was the year of my return to prog and the discovery of 30 years of great music which I'd paid no attention to- until now!
I also will react to 70s and 80s prog that i overlooked, like gentle giant, camel, etc.
