Great video Curtis!
I totally agree this makes addon development completely approachable for blender users now.
I have an introductory video series for Serpens to teach people the functionality of more of the nodes and a great blockout workflow how to develop with Serpens.
Super excited to record more videos on using Serpens combined with EasyBPY.

I've been using Serpens for over a year and it's amazing to see how far it's come. It used to be called Blender Visual Scripting but I think they changed the name to Serpens around September of last year. Thanks to this addon, I've automated so much of my workflow, I've definitely saved 100s of hours of work since I started making my own scripts. The barrier to entry for creating addons is now lower than ever before. I look forward to seeing what people do with this addon now that it's getting a lot more exposure.

Serpens is also an excellent tool to get into python for blender. I started out using serpens but that enabled me to learn addon programming for blender in a very short time

Wow that's freaking awesome, it lowered the entry difficulty so much, that's amazing!

Nobody:
Curtis: I'm gonna post yet another awesome but easily understandable video today.

You really would be great at giving tutorials for ALL Blender addons.

Man, this makes me reconsider learn to code, I am literally addicted to Blender now, thought I've added enough of variety of flavours I use it for!
Looks like i was mistaken, i will start on python again, I know little, so there it goes... Another skill gained in this life:)

This is incredible. I have just made my own very first addon that turns on smooth shading and sets the autosmooth angle in one click. I'm just getting into hard surface modelling and the first thing I noticed is that it is a massive pain having to do that for each mesh I add to a scene. Now instead of about four or five clicks, it will take me one. There is absolutely no way I would have been able to do this without both serpens and easybpy. I am aware that there are addons already that will do this for me and I am reinventing the wheel, but I can so why not. I cannot thank you enough. This opens up some very exciting possibilities to my overly tired mind. :)

Time to focus on building our add-ons again. It was a pain in the butt to do even the simplest things so thank you so much for this!

Lets hope the Serpens developer doesn't abandon the addon like he did with Layer Painter. He still sells Layer Painter for $20 without updating it forever and states he can't support it because he's focusing on other projects, including university which is taking up most of his time.

This will become handy for hair particle preset, like I don't have to apply the same setting each time I add new system

You still had to write 8 lines which all contain syntax and formatting which you were able to write because you have knowledge of coding built up over years of practice. Is it possible for someone who has never written any programs or add-ons before (like me) to create the same simple randomize colour without touching the text editor?
