Great video, thanks. I am upgrading my 2016 Focus ST from Sync 2 to Sync 3 at the moment. I was very lucky to be able to access the parts from a dead Focus Sport. Anyway, the weird thing is my Sync 2 USB hub with the SD card slot & single USB-A actually has the same power outlet as a Sync 3 USB hub, I don't need the Gen2b power adapter, I found that to be unusual from all the research that I have done.

Friend have you ever used a drill? Maybe a rotary tool and either slot the holes or make new one's depending on how much it's off. Kudo's for the video though :)

I assume if you buy this kit and get it registered to your VIN, It will continue to work okay for your parking sensors, self parking etc?

I've seems a few video on doing this and it looks simple enough, yet the dealer said it's not possible to convert from sync 2 to sync 3. I'm thinking of doing this to my Focus ST. Does everything still work after the conversion like the steering wheel controls, voice commands, etc and can I use the factory GPS antenna?

Hi, Can I continue to use the old hub as I will be using an Android phone? You mentioned it in the video, but after installing SYNC 3, will the SD Card and Aux ports still work? And will the USB input in front of the gear also work?
