My son has a 2016 Fusion. The Bluetooth on the Sync system stopped working. Ford said it was the APIM. He has the smaller screen with the mess of buttons. Would changing the head unit help him? Also would be be able to change to the larger screen head unit? Lastly, i was told you have to program the unit to the car. Is that true. Thanks for any info you can give.
