Thanks so much for these really comprehensive and clear guides. Despite some nervousness I was able to install the navigation by following the steps, without any problems. The dealer quoted £130 just to 'scope the issue' with no guarantees it would be the final bill, so finding these instructions and being able to follow them is fantastic. Very many thanks.

I have a 2015 Cmax Energi with my Ford Touch SYNC2 and navigation version 3.7 MAP A6
do I need to upgrade the software and load the Navipatch or
just the Navipatch to get my A8 map to work

What is the navi patch for? I already installed the latest Sync 2 3.10 Update from ford. I still have the old map A4 SD card....what does the navi patch improve?

So I basically install those onto a flash drive and plug the flash drive into my cars usb port? It will automatically download or do I have to select update? I’m sorry for all the questions.

Great Stuff. I got lost on the Navi Path. You have to Press the actual image and it will say UNLOACKED. Boom it worked. Great Stuff!

Hey would you know anything about 2013 Lincoln MKX I have the sync two system and my air conditioner keeps coming on by itself any kind of movement or even if I touch the bezel every couple seconds it comes on

I did the process, have the small compass, Insert Nav SD card in the corner, did the navipatch and I even have the nav option in the menu, but my software shows no license and no navigation under the system info screen, still says 4.32. Every time I try to put the usb in, I get an error that says "one or more of the files you are trying to install did not install successfully". I know that i unzipped and transferred everything to to USB the correct way, im not sure what Needs to be done to fix the issue.

have a question for you, when I tried to install the navigation app the first time sync said that it could not install copy righted material through the USB port. It seemed to install the app anyways. It did not appear in the system information. Tried a second time still with no luck. I am trying the app for sync 3.08. am i missing something? I have made all the other updates and module changes. Do you have an idea of what i need to do? thank you
