Nigel Farage has reversed his decision to stand down and has announced he will stand in the Essex constituency of Clacton in the upcoming general election.

Mr Farage also said he would be taking over from Richard Tice as the leader of Reform UK.

He said two weeks ago he was not intending to stand again for election.

Farage is not the micro managing political genius some imply. He's lost in parliamentary contests 7 times, the last time beaten 2-1 by a novelty candidate in a dolphin suit. He's given an easy ride constantly. His big idea was leaving the EU, but he says it's not been done right. Nobody asks him why or to present an alternative and he has none, except brutal deregulation and privatisation of public services. He did no work for constituents in 20 yrs of EU parliament, so why would anyone want him as their representative?
