The way they change the sound to match where each piece of the intro is happening is a great subtle detail, making the sound distant when it flashes to the party members.

I like how the Japanese version got a mega pop star for the song while the English localisation got some niche vocalist with mild recognition in the US

I remember back in the days of Dial-Up internet. This video had been released and it took me 4 attempts over 3 days to get this Japanese intro to download. It was a while before the game came out and i'd watch this over and over. Memories!

I sincerely think Real Emotion should have stayed in Japanese for the release of the game. Kumi’s career could have had a real good boost that way. Most people who prefer Jade’s version heard the english version first. Hikaru’s songs in Kingdom Hearts stay in Japanese, should be the same for FF.
