This reminds me of when I got a hold of a friends' CD with some demos and trailers for upcoming games, and this was one of the trailers. While it looked a bit "girly", the song easily got in my head and the excitment of being able to relive FFX in any way possible came rushing in instantly.
Anyway, amazing work! Can't wait for the Thunder Plains rendition of 1000 Words.

As far as technicalities goes, in the slow motion comparison we can see the downsides of the method in the hair and other details, but it's difficult to tell with normal speed, and I would gladly trade those minor issues for the higher resolution.

I remember going from FFX to X-2 and wondering what in the hell happened where I'd gone from an Asian fantasy to a pop show.

Note- this was before I knew K-Pop even existed so it's a bit hard conveying just how absurd I thought the game was being.

Still has the best Job System of any Final Fantasy though.

Almost perfect, i would prefer without face reconst. or off some scenes where it deforms face, should not be used the entire time, and Yuna’s nose is double the size in the comparison. I would love the extra care please! 😅

Seeing it upscaled and cleaned up so much is beyond amazing! I can only imagine this is what it looked like in the computer they built the game on but then they had to downscale it to fit on the PS2.
