Even though he was experiencing hair loss during the production of Dr. No, he still had a reasonable amount of hair left, and the film crew employed different methods to optimize his remaining hair. However, when Goldfinger (1964) came around, Connery's hair had thinned too much, leading to the use of different hairpieces for his final appearances as Bond.
