A Youtuber has nothing to gain and everything to lose by publicly apologising for something like that, so Cody won't. Simple as that. He might be ostracised by some for a few years, but he's hoping it will blow over and he's probably right. Acknowledging it or apologising is inevitably just more fuel on the fire and he clearly doesn't feel like he did anything wrong.
